Three steps

Choose the earlier PDF first and the revised PDF second. Each file can contain up to 100 pages.
Run Compare PDFs and download comparison.pdf. Each page position has Before, After and Visual differences panels.
Inspect the originals for fine print. The report uses reduced previews and adds limited text excerpts when selectable text changes.

Worked example

Load the two fictional dispatch samples. The Cartons quantity changes from 6 to 7 on all three pages; page 1 also changes its sentence about the delivery. Run Compare PDFs, inspect the magenta marks, then read the exact wording in the originals.

What if the revision adds a cover at the beginning?

Pages are paired by number, so an inserted cover can shift every later comparison. Align the input pages first if you only want to compare their contents. The comparison covers rendering and text, not hidden metadata or signatures.

Can I compare scanned PDFs?

Yes, visible changes can appear in the image comparison. An image-only scan has no selectable text for the text-difference section; small changes can be missed in the reduced previews.

Does this verify that a contract has the same meaning?

No. It compares rendered pages and extracted text, not legal meaning. It does not validate digital signatures or compare hidden metadata. No detected difference is not proof that two files are identical.
