File tools for spreadsheets and data exports
Compare files, validate and clean data, convert CSV, Excel and JSON, or prepare orders, catalogs and CRM imports with ten practical file tools.
- Convert Shopify orders to a supplier CSV
Map a Shopify order export to your supplier’s column layout and review the result before sending it.
- Validate a CSV or Excel file before import
Find missing fields, duplicate keys and questionable dates in a spreadsheet, with row references for correction.
- Compare two data files by a stable key
Compare CSV, Excel or JSON snapshots and inspect added, removed or changed fields without relying on row order.
- Prepare a supplier catalog for WooCommerce or PrestaShop
Map supplier SKUs, prices, stock and categories into a store import file, then check a sample before importing.
- Extract email attachment data from an EML file to CSV
Open an exported .eml message, preview supported tabular attachments and download their rows as CSV.
- Match carrier tracking numbers to store orders
Join carrier shipment rows to a store order export by order reference and review shipments with no match.
- Clean spreadsheet dates, amounts and identifiers
Normalize dates and decimal conventions in CSV or Excel while keeping account codes and other identifiers as text.
- Merge data files into one table
Combine tabular exports and trace rows to their source file when consolidating CSV, Excel or JSON data.
- Prepare new and existing contacts for a CRM import
Compare incoming contacts with a current CRM export and separate possible updates from records requiring review.
- Convert CSV, Excel and JSON data files
Convert a table to XLSX, CSV or JSON, choose output columns and check separators and identifiers before delivery.
Before you import a table
Use a header row with a distinct name for each column. Keep identifiers such as 00127 as text in the export so they can still match the original record. Validate a file to spot missing fields before proceeding. If you already have a reference export, compare the two files using a key that identifies the same record in both.
