Inputs and matching rules
Use the following exports: Prior register, Current register.
- Pair by unique ID without names.
- Compare gross and net pay only in the same currency.
- Show period-only IDs without inferring a hiring or termination event.
Read the evidence
In the sample, E-02 moves from gross 3200 and net 2480 to gross 3300 and net 2550. E-03 appears only in the earlier register. Review the pay-period scope before interpreting either result.
What the result can establish
Compare equivalent pay periods and one row per ID. A change is a review item, not a payroll error or an employment decision.
