Worked example
For an invoice packet, put the cover letter first, the invoice second and the delivery note last. Check the boundary between documents in the finished PDF: the first delivery page should follow the last invoice page.
Will bookmarks and signatures carry over?
The merge copies pages, not document-level bookmarks, attachments or signatures. Keep the signed originals if you need that evidence. You can combine 2–20 PDFs, with at most 500 source pages in total.
